About the products

What fabric can we print on?

We can currently print on six different types of fabric:

  1. Stretch: 260gsm Fire Retardant 100% Polyester (0.29mm thickness; 4% stretch)
  2. Flag: 100gsm Fire Retardant 100% Polyester ‘Tight-weave’
  3. Flag Vent: 100gsm Fire Retardant 100% Polyester ‘Vented’ Flag/Display
  4. Display: 220gsm Fire Retardant 100% Polyester Display
  5. Backlit: 165gsm Fire Retardant 100% Polyester, PU Coated, Backlit Display
  6. Tent: 260gsm Fire Retardant 100% Coated, Waterproof Polyester.
Are our deckchairs safety tested?

Our Giant Deckchair frames are tested to the following standards:

EN 581-1:2017
EN 581-2:205 (Contract Level)

How is the fabric printed?

A combination of dye-sublimination and latex printing techniques are used across the range to ensure the best possible finish for every product. Dye-sublimination is the process of permanently applying photo standards images to fabric. It transfers the image into the material, not on to the surface. Resolution sits at 2400dpi.

If you’ve placed an order but don’t receive a confirmation email, in the first instance, please check your junk folder (just in case).

There's a mistake. Can I change my order?
Please, please, please double check your artwork and order details thoroughly before you complete your order. You won’t be able to make any changes once the artwork has been submitted to us as we’ll already be processing your order. Sorry!

We cannot be held responsible for any mistakes on artwork supplied to us.

Can I track my order?

Yes, once your order has been dispatched we will send you a tracking code via email which you can use to track your order to delivery.

How do I update my details?

If you would like to update your details, you can log in to My Account and do so there.

If you need to change the address you want your order delivered to whilst an order is being processed, we can usually do this up until the point that the order is complete. After your order is complete, it’s too late to change.

If you need to change delivery details for an order that is in process, please contact us.

Do you store any information about me?
Yes, in order to process your order we store your name and contact details securely. You can view or change any information we hold on you by logging in to your account.

If you opted in to receive our newsletter, we hold your name and email address for that purpose. If you would like to unsubscribe, please contact us.

Can I cancel my order?

Once you complete your order and check out, we’ll begin to process your order. As we’re manufacturing a bespoke product just for you, it’s not possible to cancel your order once it’s been placed.

Why do I have to register?

We ask customers to complete our simple registration process so we are able to offer you additional benefits like being able to track your orders through your Account. If you have any concerns, please get in touch.

How do I log into my account?

How much does it cost to call you?

0843 business numbers are classed as “low call rate” numbers. Calling an 0843 phone number costs 7p per minute. This is called a service charge. Your service provider may charge an additional access charge.

Please check with your service provider for additional access charges as they vary from provider to provider.

File supply

Will my files be checked?

We’ll automatically check your file and let you know if it has passed our preflighting, whether you need to make changes or whether you’d like us to fix it. However, it is important to stress that these checks are to confirm technical set up of your file. Our checks do not cover spelling or checking details on your artwork – you are responsible for checking the content before sending your artwork to us.

If your file passes our technical checks, it will automatically begin production.

How do I upload my artwork?

You will be prompted to upload your artwork file before adding your chosen product to your basket.

Simply click on the “Choose file” button on the product page and select the file you’d like us to use. Your artwork will automatically be sent to us along with your order details.

If you experience any problems uploading your artwork, please contact us and we’ll be happy to help.

Is there a maximum file size that I can upload?

Yes. The maximum artwork file size you can upload through the site is 100MB. In the unlikely event that your artwork file is larger, please contact us to make other arrangements.

What file formats do you accept?

Payment and delivery

I'm not in the UK, can I place an order?

Apologies, we are not currently able to trade with anyone who does not have a UK mainland address.

Do you deliver outside the uk?

No, I’m afraid we’re not able to ship outside the mainland UK (England, Scotland and Wales) using our own couriers. In some cases, if a customer would like to arrange their own courier to collect from our UK distribution factory that would be possible.

Is my payment secure?

All online payments are made via our secure payment gateways; Stripe. Stripe is a leading online payment provider. Please note that Stripe does not divulge your credit card information to anyone, including inkonfabric.co.uk, so you can rest assured that your billing details are safe.

how will my order be packaged?

Your order will be despatched in unbranded boxes.

can i change my delivery address?

If you need to change the address you want your order delivered to whilst an order is being processed, we can usually do this up until the point that the order is complete. After your order is complete, it’s too late to change.

How will my product be delivered?

We currently use DHL and Tuffnells to deliver our parcels. The courier is subject to change at any time.

We despatch all orders use a next working day* delivery service.

Giant Deckchairs are delivered with Tuffnells. Please note that Tuffnells expect the receiver to have the correct equipment to unload and unpack the order without assistance. If Tuffnells are required to get involved with unloading your order additional charges may apply.

Please note: Larger orders will require a pallet delivery. Pallet deliveries are curb side deliveries. Get in touch if you have any questions.

How much is delivery?

We now offer FREE DELIVERY across all products to UK Mainland addresses only (England, Scotland and Wales).

Delivery is based on our standard next working day delivery once production has been completed.

If you need your order more quickly, get in touch with us before you place the order. We will do everything we can to get your order to you in time.

What happens if my order is late?

In the very unlikely event that your order isn’t dispatched on time, we’ll provide 20% credit of the item’s full value for each day that we’re late in despatching. This credit can be redeemed off your next order.

Your order will be delivered by a third party courier. In the rare event that a delay in your order is caused by the courier, we’re unfortunately not able to offer compensation directly. We cannot guarantee the service from third parties, deliveries are always subject to the couriers service at the time.

Products are priced on the site for standard 5 day delivery. However, if you need delivery more quickly, please contact us for rates and times.

Why am I being charged VAT?

Since we sell to businesses, all our prices exclude VAT. We’ll add VAT to your order at the current rate. You will be able to see the total cost inclusive of VAT before completing your order.

We’ll automatically email you a VAT invoice once your order is completed.

Where do you deliver to?

We can deliver to mainland UK addresses (England, Scotland or Wales).

Unfortunately we’re not able to deliver off the mainland, including Northern Ireland. We do offer a customer collection option from our printing hub. Please get in touch to discuss further.

Can I deliver to a different address?

Yes, if you’d like your order to be delivered to an address other than your registered address, that’s no problem. You can select a different UK mainland delivery address (England, Scotland or Wales) when completing your order.

How quick is delivery?

Turnaround times are stated next to each product. This is made up of our production time and delivery time.

We despatch all orders on a next day delivery service but this is not guaranteed. All deliveries are subject to courier services at time of delivery, we have no control over third party services.

Can I pay with cash or Cheque?

No, I’m afraid we’re not able to process orders using cash or cheque.

You can pay for your order using a credit or debit card directly through the website.

If you would like to pay for your order via BACS, you can. Please get in touch with us before placing your order to make arrangements.

Can I place and order and pay over the phone?

We are unable to accept orders and  take payments over the phone. Please place you order through our website or email [email protected]

Do you guarantee delivery dates?

It’s not possible for us to guarantee delivery dates or times. Once your order has been despatched from our print hub it is in the hands of the courier and subject to their service, of which we have no control over.

Please ensure you place your order in plenty of time if you need it for a specific date or event.

Returns and faulty goods

My order has arrived but it's faulty

We work really hard to make sure everything we send out meets our usual high standard. In the unlikely event that you find something wrong, please contact us and we will do our very best to resolve the issue.

I've changed my mind. Can I get a refund?

Once you complete your order and check out, we’ll begin to process your order. As we’re manufacturing a bespoke product just for you, it’s not possible to cancel your order once it’s been placed.

FREE Next day UK mainland* delivery as standard

Our standard Next Day delivery service means your print will be despatched on a next day service** after it has finished being printed, any time between 8am-6pm.

Each product page details the overall lead time for that particular product, including production time. If you need your product urgently, please get in touch and we’ll do our very best to meet your deadline.
